Do I need to make an appointment to tour the facility?
Appointments are necessary for a tour of the facility. They are scheduled at your convenience by texting 901-610-7322 or emailing us at info@maplegrovefarm.net.
How do I design my package?
Maple Grove Farm offers a variety of options to fit your style of planning. Here are a few helpful hints to help you design your wedding package that fits you:
1) Choose whether you want your ceremony & reception here or just one or the other. Also, consider Maple Grove for your rehearsal dinner as well.
2) Have an idea of the size of the wedding. There is a minimum of 2 and maximum of 300 for the number of guests. There are several close hotels for out of town guests to stay.
3) Decide how involved you want to be. Our list of vender options lets the bride and groom personalize their wedding without having to do all the leg work and research in finding their vendors since Maple Grove Farm’s preferred vendors will take care of most everything for them. If you would rather choose your own vendors and piece together what rentals you want, then you can very easily do that with the a la carte style package option list, making choices and budgeting very easy.
4) Let Maple Grove know as quickly as possible which date you want to reserve with a contract and deposit while your date is still available.
Do I get to customize my options with the Venue Rental Package?
Absolutely! All of our venders are very creative and want to work with you to customize everything.
How many guests can be accommodated at the facility?
We can accommodate up to 300 guests.
Do you provide a wedding coordinator to direct us?
Definitely! We have an experienced wedding coordinator assigned with all of our weddings to assist up to the day of the wedding and also direct and coordinate your ceremony rehearsal, wedding and reception. This allows you and your family and friends to enjoy the day to its fullest.
When are the ceremony rehearsals held?
The ceremony rehearsals are typically held the day or two before the wedding. The exact time is set by Maple Grove Farm and may not be at the same time as the ceremony.
Is Maple Grove Farm available for rehearsal dinners?
A rehearsal dinner can be booked with or without booking a wedding.
Is additional time available for my reception or setup?
Additional time is available for your event for an additional rate.
What are the catering policies?
You have the choice of using our in-house caterer or providing an outside caterer. If an outside caterer is chosen, then we require a $500 catering fee and $150 staff fee to hire an additional staff member to be onsite. We do require the submission of a current business license, a current approved health department rating, and liability insurance naming Maple Grove Farm as additionally insured for $1 million.
What are the alcohol policies?
You may serve beer, wine, and champagne. Signature drinks allowed pending approval. Kegs are allowed and preferred. Glass beer bottles are not allowed. The approved caterer must provide the certified bartender. All alcohol must be served from the bar or by the licensed servers. There is an additional alcohol fee of $3.50 per person and bar glassware/bar usage fee of $2.00 per person that includes usage of the bar areas and the bar ice, napkins, and unlimited glassware (wine, pint, and champagne glasses.)
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is permitted in certain areas.
What are the policies on fireworks and throwing things?
For the safety of your guests, we do not allow any kind of fireworks, such as sparklers, or things that can be thrown such as bird seed, confetti or rice. We do allow bubbles, glow sticks, and real flower petals upon departure. Only real flower pedals can be thrown during the ceremony and it is your responsibility to clean up.
What is the closing time?
Since Maple Grove Farm is located in a residential city limits, we must comply with all Collierville’s noise ordinances. Our closing time is 11:00 P.M. inside events and 10:00 P.M. outside events.
What is the reservation deposit for the Venue Rental Package?
The reservation Deposit for the Venue Rental Package is $3000, $750 for Ceremony only, or 50% of Venue Subtotal which can accommodate vender upgrade deposits. This Deposit is non-refundable or transferable and is applied to the balance due and not additional.
When is the balance due?
The balance is due 60 days prior to your event. We have two payment options. Option 1 is a lump sum payment. Option 2 is convenient monthly payments, due by the 15th of each month. Payments can be make by cash, check or credit card. Credit card payment are made using Paypal. Paypal charges a convenience fee of 3.5%, which is their fee, not Maple Grove Farm’s.
Am I allowed to bring in my own vendors?
Yes. We do allow you to bring in some venders. Maple Grove Farm must approve all venders before you contract with them.
Do I need insurance?
Yes. You must acquire a one-time event policy to show proof of insurance naming Maple grove Farm as additionally insured for not less than $1 million with a waiver of subrogation included. If alcohol is served, then liquor liability shall be added to the policy.
Can I bring in rentals?
We do allow you to bring in some rentals. Tents, linens, furniture, heaters, fans, place settings, and other related items are rented through Maple Grove Farm.
